loooks great, personally, i'd keep the irises (irsi??) ...((iris??).. hmmm yea, i'd keep those things, as they add so much realism to your drawings, also, (and dnt take this the wrong way) but ya might wanna think about changing the big number "3" on his chin LOL, just a suggestion, but its up to u, just i dont think it looks as good as your normal work with faces (its still really good, dont get me wrong, its just the chin lol.) also your hair looks pretty darn good, just add some texture lines in the middle and hey- presto!! instant cool looking hair !! hope that helps (if at all DX)
im surprised you dislike it? it was an instant like for me? unless its one of those things where it wasnt the image you had in your head? Al looks mega p'd off! i wouldnt wanna make fun of his boots right now 0_0
Nah keep the iris, it increases the level of realism in the piece. And the hairs certainly doesn't look gay, on the contrary my friend it looks really good. (Plus people had really wierd haircuts in the dark ages anyway XD)

I think you could leave the irises, unless you want that demonic/blind kind of feeling to his eyes. It also gives more focus to his gaze This is a very good sketch, I hope your art block goes away soon...

Looks good to me! Removing the iris might be a good idea, it always makes man eyes look cooler plus, he IS a vampire so you can easily explain it away. Killer lines as per.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
